The C sevice, designed by Richard Lindh, came out in 1967. It was made from the new Poslit material - Arabia's hard earthenware. The brochure for the C model talks about a distinguished service, produced in a light and delicate material, which was intended for use in the private rooms of restaurants and on special occasions in the home. This was achieved by producing the C service by the more expensive methods that were normally used in making porcelain services.
The C model was traditionally a large, 32 or 60-piece service that was also sold in separate pieces. The decorations available for this model included Raija Uosikkinen's Talvikki, Esteri Tomula's Kimmel (Glimmer. Pictured below)) gilt pattern, Raija Uosikkinen's Pitsi (Lace) transfer pattern, and the beige-coloured edging, Bellis, designed by Olga Osol. The C-model remained in production up until 1974
