Arabia's laboratory developed a new body for the oven and flame-proof Liekki (Flame) cookware. Ulla Procopé designed the rounded bowls and pots for this service.

The Liekki dishes could be used for both preparing and serving food. The Liekki service rapidly became popular and new models were added over the years. Liekki was still being made up until 1978, when it was replaced by a series of completely new models designed by Tapio Yli-Viikari.
