HELMI (FK)

Friedl Kjellberg's FK model, the Helmi (Pearl) dinner service, made its debut in Arabia's newsletter of 1969. The service included articles made of rice porcelain and only five different pieces, had already been in production for a short time at the end of the 1950's without becoming a commercial success.
In contrast, her rice porcelain mocha, coffee and tea sets were popular and also attracted considerable attention abroad. Friedl Kjellberg's rice porcelain was produced up until 1974. Models of rice porcelain designed by Richard Lindh were produced in the 1980's.
